Design Thinking for Grade 1 Science
In the Design Thinking for Grade 1 Science, Shoe-Lutions, program, students will use the design process to investigate different materials. This process will enable students to not only generate ideas to solve a real problem they are facing, but will also teach them tools and methods to develop those ideas further to develop a prototype of their ‘shoe-lution’.
By the end of the unit, students will have a creative shoe design they can share with others. Students are driving towards answering the question, How might we design a shoe that helps to solve a problem in your day to day activities?
